Package Program for a Non-qualified Nurse from Overseas

We recently set up the following pathway with TAFE NSW Nursing Programs.

Package A

• Our EAP + TAFE NSW Certificate 3 in Aged Care Work + TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (Click here to read more details)

• Our English for Nursing + TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (without TAFE NSW Certificate 3 in Aged Care Work) (Click here to read more details)

The above Packages are a possible pathway towards eligibility for skilled Migration Visa (Permanent Visa).

Nurses are in short supply, especially in regional Australia. As you are no doubt aware, the Australian Immigration Department is trying to shift international students into regional areas where there are opportunities to secure Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme [RSMS] places by gaining work with a regional employer who is prepared to sponsor the international students.

It is much easier to find these employers if the students are already living, studying and seeking work in regional areas to find suitable an eligible employer to sponsor them.

High School Program

• University of NSW offers $4,000 Scholarship to our highest achieving Year 12 student.

• Our high school graduate, Miss Ziyu ZHANG has been granted Permanent Residency (Distinguished Talent visa), due to her excellent performance in playing table tennis. She won Australian National Championships - Table Tennis Tournament in July 2010.

• Ms Ziyu came to our school in June 2009 to start with English course. After 6 months, she moved onto our High School program. She studied 2 years and 6 months altogether with us. Ziyu, All the best for your sports career and we hope we can see you in London Olympic in 2012!
